New Jersey Municipal Court Reform

Non-Credit Feature

Program Description:

The New Jersey 1947 Constitution gave birth to the Municipal Court. For over 70 years the Municipal Court has been (in many cases) the only exposure the public has to the judicial branch of government. Many aspects of our government have been updated and modernized. Although the municipal court is still operating, in large part, under its 20th century framework. In this lesson we ask the question, “Is it time to reform the NJ Municipal Courts?”
