Program Description:

This 3.5 credit CLE will trace the development of the common Law of War as it is understood and followed in the United States since the era of the Civil War. The curriculum will then analyze the impact that the events of September 11, 2001 had on the substantive and procedual aspects of the Law of War as well as enforcement actions taken against those who violate its rules.
