Description: Are you a personal injury attorney, real estate practitioner or trusts and estates lawyer? As the months and years go by, your attorney trust account may process hundreds of transactions. As a result, some account balances – both large and small – may remain on your books for years. Over time, these sums become mystery money, with no available and accurate information about the client who owns them or what the money was for (a legal fee, expenses, etc).

To make matters worse, purposely appropriating the funds as “probably a fee” without your client’s knowledge and permission can be catastrophic to your legal career! Here is the good news – the Rules of Court provide an exacting procedure for getting mystery money off your books for good!

This minimum 1.5 ETHICS credit CLE on May 20th at Noon will provide you with all the procedures and forms you need to get this mystery money out of your life.

Our Lunchtime Learning courses count as live instruction. Your camera must be on the entire presentation.
